Well, it's been a while since the last post! However, between the wedding planning for mommy & daddy, along with taking care of our sweet angel, hard work for Dad, school/testing for mom, and spending time with all our friends and family the Blog fell slightly on the priority list. However, things have finally slowed down and we are back up and running! I have posted several pics for those of you who miss out on SWEET Blake moments with the exception of the blog. Enjoy!
For Halloween we had trouble deciding on a costume, we didn't want to settle on something and Mommy thinks all of the firsts are extremely important, including the first costume, and she and Dad procrastinated until it was the last minute. Unfortunately, no costume was ever found, and a very nice friend *Mandie* was very nice to let us borrow a Jack-O-Lantern costume. As you can see above, the costume did not make the cut either. We tried it out but it just wasn't working....So we improvised and created a ghost costume with a white onesie, white face paint, and a white hat. Still to our dismay, Blake was NOT satisfied, the hat didn't fit right, the paint was very uncomfortable for him, and he thought being a ghost was not his style...ha ha...So after several minutes of uncontrollable crying Mommy made the decision to wash off the paint and hope that next Halloween can be more satisfying.
Daddy finished a Job in Kentucky and got an extra week off to stay at home with Blake and Mommy. This gave us time to do a lot of things we had been talking about doing for a while. The picture above is at Blakes Great Great Aunt Helen's house....This is Zac's Great Aunt Helen that l
