BaTh TiMe!!!! :))))

Blake loves to take a bath! He stayed in his little bath tub until the water got too cold for him to stand it. He splashed around and laughed and kicked for about 30 minutes! It was too cute. I told him he was definitely related to his Aunt Randa because they share the love for spending quality time with their bath tub!

Family Time

Yesterday was spent wedding planning and visiting family. At the start of the day Blake and I went to see off Great Great Aunt Pauline and cousin Melissa as they left for the airport. I also sent them off with a copy of Blake's blog web address so they can follow him from D.C.

After that, Mommy went to the dentist while Blake spent time at our other home (WALMART) with Nanny M and Great Great Aunt Helen. Then it was on to Kosciusko for all the wedding appointments. We met up with Daddy, M and Aunt Randa. Then Came the special visits!!! Blake was able to visit with his Aunt Holly and cousin Cray, we had to ask Cray if he would like to be our miniature groom! A few hours later, after a couple of other wedding stops, we were able to visit with Blake's sister and Nana and Papa Palmertree. Dylan Olivia seemed to really enjoy holding her little brother and playing with him. Blake's father and I cherish these sweet little moments! Blake has finally found his feet and toes, therefore he has been putting them on everyone! :) While she was holding him he put his little feet on her face and was grabbing her shirt with his toes! It was too cute! Dad and I noticed how similar they looked when we stood back watching Dylan Olivia Holding him

Then it was off to M's house for some yummy spaghetti and cereal! Finally we headed home and to bed. We had a big weekend while daddy was at home, but he is leaving out again to day for work and may be gone a little longer this time. Blake is spending his last hours with him while mommy is at school!

Uncle R.B. at the Gentry Family reunion

Well Blake got to meet his GREAT GREAT GREAT uncle today at the Gentry family reunion along with all of his other name sakes. We named him Blake GENTRY Hill because of my close relationship with that family. Gentry is my Paternal grandmother's family. I have always held an admiration for them in my heart because they are all so loving, caring, and close. Every year during in October family comes from all over the US and sometimes the world to right here in fourcorners to visit. I have always enjoyed the close relationships with my extended family and I hope that one day Blake will grow up and at least be SOME like a Gentry! Also we finally got him to the doctor, she says he has a very mild ear infection and a small cold, so we have been giving him that yummy pink antibiotic, an antihistamine , and some ear drops.. He really seems to be doing much better! He has been glad to have his daddy home, and so has daddy! They have been spending lots of time together while mommy gets a break ;)

DADDYS HOME!!

Blake's daddy finally made it home from work last night! I think that Blake was just as happy to see him as he was to see Blake! They are spending some MAN time today while I'm at school. However, I think part of it may have to be spent in the Doctor's office :( My poor lil man is sick...I am pretty sure it's just a cold but he woke up with a runny nose and drainage on Wednesday morning. You can just look at him and tell he doesn't feel well. He isn't running a fever but he sounds awful whenever he breathes. I know there is probably nothing that the doctor can do about it, but I just feel so helpless. 

This morning even though he wasn't feeling well whenever Zac started talking to him and smiling at him, Blake started laughing and cooing "Talking to him". He definitely loves his Daddy! Whenever Zac is gone to work and he calls me, I put him on speaker phone so that Blake can hear him talking too, and it's just so neat how he recognizes his voice over the phone. 


I will update later if/when I hear word from the Dr. hopefully he will start getting better soon! My lil man is 1o weeks old today! :))))))))
